Say Hello to My New Saw, and Saw Bench.

So I’m really pleased to introduce the Bosch GTS 10 XC Table Saw. And today I’ve been busy building a new bench for it and I’m really pleased with how this has turned-out,.

Now complete, and with the saw in position, I can take measurements from it to order a set of casters and levelling feet for it.

The construction is interesting as I used a simple half-lap technique on the table saw that produces consistent results on all 8 corners but with little measuring. In fact you mark-up one leg and then take all your reference measurements from that.

Mmm… I could explain but I think this will need a longer blog post and a video to explain in detail.

Productive day today building a base for the new saw. Underneath space for four type 4 Systainers or Makpaks. The base is the exact same dimensions as the top and designed to raise the saw (when the wheels arrive) to 89cm which is my preferred working height. #strawbyteworkshop @boschprofessionaleurope #boschprofessional #gts10xc say purchased from @axminstertools
